Brady United Against Gun Violence  

Brady United is one of America’s oldest gun violence prevention groups, named after Jim Brady, who was shot and paraylzed while serving as President Ronald Reagan’s Press Secretary. 

Everytown for Gun Safety

Everytown for Gun Safety is a nonprofit organization which advocates for gun control and against gun violence. Everytown was created in 2013 when Mayors Against Illegal Guns and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America joined forces.

Gun Violence Archive

Gun Violence Archive is a nonprofit research group which catalogs every incident of gun violence in the United States.

Coalition to Stop Gun Violence

CSGV is the nation’s oldest gun violence prevention organization and they are dedicated to addressing every form of gun violence, especially the ones that rarely make news headlines. 

The Trace  

The Trace is an American non-profit journalism organization started in 2015 which is devoted to gun-related news in the United States.

Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Policy and Research

The Center for Gun Policy and Research is a research center at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health dedicated to researching ways to reduce gun violence in the United States. 

School Shooting Database by The Washington Post

The Washington Post spent months determining how many children have been exposed to gun violence during school hours since the Columbine High massacre in 1999.

The Rebels Project

The Rebels Project was founded by survivors of the Columbine and Aurora Movie Theater shootings in 2012 and is a group which connects survivors of mass tragedy and trauma and provides a safe environment for people to share resources and experiences. 

Survivors Lead

Survivors Lead is the nation’s first gun reform and direct service organization led 100% by survivors. Survivors Lead provides unique peer support and advocacy for survivors of gun violence. We take a municipality-based approach to curbing gun violence, focused on survivor-led efforts to end gun violence in our cities.
